UPS equipment category

Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS)

We buy new and used UPS systems. Send the brand, exact model, and size.

An uninterruptible power supply should be described by protected-load role, topology, capacity, voltage, phase, runtime architecture, redundancy, form factor, controls, batteries, and present condition. Those facts are more useful than cabinet color or a broad product-family label.

Establish the electrical identity

Transcribe manufacturer, model, serial when appropriate, kVA, kW, input/output voltage, phase, frequency, and topology from labels or documents. Note frame size and installed capacity separately for modular systems.

Identify bypass, transformers, battery cabinets, monitoring cards, power modules, and output distribution that belong to the configuration. State which components are included, missing, or unknown.

Describe service history and state

Record the last known operating date, visible alarms, known faults, maintenance history, battery replacement history, and current installed or staged status. Avoid representing equipment as tested when only a prior operating report is available.

Connect condition to project facts

An installed UPS may require shutdown coordination, electrical isolation, pathway review, rigging, packaging, and freight planning. These project facts are separate from the equipment description and require written scope confirmation.
