Seller preparation guide
Sell Commercial UPS Systems
We buy new and used UPS systems. Send the brand, exact model, and size.
Selling a commercial UPS system is primarily an evidence and scope exercise. The most useful inquiry identifies the exact electrical system, included components, present state, documentation, access constraints, and decision timeline before either party assumes an offer or removal plan is feasible.

Define what is actually included
List the main UPS cabinet and each related asset: battery cabinets, strings or modules, maintenance bypass, input or output transformers, static transfer switches, power distribution, spare power modules, network cards, and documentation. Clarify whether the package is a complete operating system, a partially decommissioned configuration, or individual surplus components.
Nameplate information should be transcribed carefully rather than inferred from appearance. Manufacturer, exact model, serial number, kVA/kW, voltage, phase, frequency, and cabinet identifiers establish the baseline. If labels conflict with a facility schedule or one-line drawing, disclose both rather than selecting the more favorable description.

Separate equipment condition from project status
Operational status, maintenance history, alarm or fault information, battery age, and cosmetic condition help explain the equipment itself. Installed or disconnected status, energized condition, shutdown responsibility, path dimensions, floor loading, rigging points, loading dock access, and security rules define the project around it.
A buyer review may determine that additional information is needed or that a particular system is outside the current scope. The site does not represent that every submission will receive an offer, that every location can be served, or that removal and transportation will be included.

Submit a review-ready package
Provide clear exterior and nameplate images, a count of cabinets and loose components, available maintenance records, and a realistic decision date. For multiple systems, group photographs and documents by equipment ID so the record can be checked without guessing which label belongs to which cabinet.
