Identify chemistry and configuration
Record cabinet manufacturer and model, battery manufacturer and model if visible safely, chemistry, quantity, string arrangement, voltage, date codes or installation date, and the UPS system served. Distinguish internal batteries, external cabinets, loose modules, and disconnected strings.
A cabinet exterior does not establish the installed battery set or remaining condition. Use service records and safe external labels. Do not open energized cabinets or handle damaged batteries for photography.

Describe safe observable condition
Report installed, connected, disconnected, palletized, or removed status and any safely visible swelling, leakage, heat damage, corrosion, or cabinet damage. Stop and follow site safety procedures if a hazardous condition is suspected.

Battery transport, recycling, disposal, packaging, and environmental handling are not assumed. Any accepted project scope must identify chemistry, quantities, condition, responsible providers, and applicable requirements.
