Modular UPS Systems — Equipment Category
We buy new and used UPS systems. Send the brand, exact model, and size.
A modular UPS should be described by frame, installed power modules, configured capacity, supported expansion, bypass, redundancy, controls, batteries, and spares. The cabinet name alone does not establish how the system is populated or what remains included.

Record frame and population separately
Capture the frame model and rating, each installed power-module model and rating, module count, empty slots, configured capacity, and documented redundancy. Photograph cabinet and module labels where safe.
List controller, display, network, static bypass, maintenance bypass, transformer, battery, and distribution components. Note whether spare modules or removed components are available and whether firmware or configuration records can be shared.

Avoid unsupported capacity conclusions
Maximum frame rating is not the same as installed capacity. Installed modules do not by themselves prove current usable capacity or redundancy. Use commissioning, service, or configuration records where available and label unknowns clearly.

Plan cabinet and component handling
State whether modules remain installed for movement, whether batteries are separate, and what manufacturer handling guidance is available. Weight, center of gravity, pathway, packaging, and lifting needs should be based on documentation and site review rather than appearance.
